Dear Christine,
Thanks for operating on the dog Rudy. I saw him today for his skin and looked in his mouth, it looks great and appears to be healing well and he is comfortable and eating well. Thanks for your help it is greatly appreciated.
Regards Michael
Hey guys,
I think the updated internet site is FAB! Just wondering what time frame you guys are looking at in getting the Nurses/Vets info area working? We are looking at running a owner info evening in August and are looking into sourcing information.
Thank you,
Tara
Thanks Tara, there are a few people working on the members content right now – myself included. Let us know what sort of stuff would be helpful and I can make it a priority. Remember that Christine is happy to do client evenings and really does engage the general public. Price for these small seminars is currently $250 + GST per hour and you can use Provet points. A great little trick is to video the talks and publish them on your website and social media sites such as Youtube for all to see (we can help with this as well if that makes it easy). Thanks. Chris
Hi Christine,
Hope you well, I have a Cornish Rex cat currently age around 2 and half yeasr old. I and would like to know how much will be a dental check up and a clean will cost us. Is there any insurance whcih can claim a little back? he curreanly have a red gum in fornt teeth, still active to eat and play. I ahve not come across with dental problems with other cats in house yet, so I would like to know more about your services
Please advise. Thanks
regards
Kris
Hi Kris, thanks for your question, it is hard to estimate costs without seeing your cat as it depends on what is needed. If he has red gums then treatment is warranted as this indicates gingivitis, which means inflammation and discomfort. The earlier you treat, the more chance of getting it before it advances.
A consultation is $132. As far as insurance, some companies do provide some dental cover, but in most cases the cover for dental is either for trauma (accident) or a payment towards routine dental care if you have a ‘wellness’ type of policy. They pretty much all won’t cover for pre-existing disease so if there are already problems you would need to deal with them first and then read the different policies to check which is best for what you need.
Let me know if I can help.
Cheers
Christine
